Richard Leatherdale

Richard Leatherdale is an experienced content management professional currently serving as the Web Content Manager and Senior Content Production Manager at English Heritage since December 2018. In this role, Richard oversees various high-profile print and digital projects, including the Members’ Magazine and Handbook, managing every aspect from budget to distribution for over 700,000 copies annually. Prior to this, Richard held positions at the University of Gloucestershire, where responsibilities included content production and marketing related to student recruitment, and served as Production Editor at Taylor & Francis Group and The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. Richard’s career began at The History Press as an Editor and includes roles as a bookseller at Waterstones. Richard holds a 2:1 degree in Imaginative Writing and Screen Studies from Liverpool John Moores University.
