Peter Van Giessel is a seasoned professional in the venture capital and board governance sectors, currently serving as a Member of The Supervisory Board at Kongsberg Digital since June 2023. With extensive experience as a Partner at Shell Ventures since February 2017, Peter co-founded Shell Technology Ventures, which focuses on technology investments in the Oil & Gas sector and energy transition companies. Peter holds board positions at several organizations, including Daphne Technology, Strohm, GLX, Enhanced Drilling, TRAVIS Road Services, and Akselos, contributing to investment strategy and company development. Peter has an MBA from London Business School and a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, complemented by a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.
