Mohamed Tabit currently serves as the Head of Operational Coordination and Infrastructure at the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) since August 2023. Previously, Tabit held the position of Deputy Head of Division at the European External Action Service from April 2016 to August 2023, and acted as Military and Political Advisor to the Ambassador at the Représentation permanente de la France auprès de l’Union européenne from May 2012 to April 2016. Additionally, Tabit has served as an Advisor to the Minister of Defence at the French Ministry for Armed Forces, an Advisor to the Minister at the Ministère chargé des Relations avec le Parlement et de la Vie démocratique, an Advisor to the President at the Assemblée nationale, and an Advisor to the President at the French Mayors Association. Early career experience includes working as an Auditor at EY. Tabit holds a Stanford LEAD Professional Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, along with two Master's degrees in European Governance and Finance from Sciences Po, and has studied at New York University.

The European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) is a centre of network and information security expertise for the EU, its Member States, the private sector and Europe’s citizens. ENISA works with these groups to develop advice and recommendations on good practice in information security. It assists EU Member States in implementing relevant EU legislation and works to improve the resilience of Europe’s critical information infrastructure and networks. ENISA seeks to enhance existing expertise in EU Member States by supporting the development of cross-border communities committed to improving network and information security throughout the EU.
