Stefano De Crescenzo currently serves as the Head of Operations and Situational Awareness at the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) since August 2021. Prior to this role, Stefano was the Deputy Head of Sector - Corporate Networks and Security at the Council of the European Union from November 2019 to August 2021. A significant portion of Stefano's career was spent at Cisco from October 2007 to November 2019, where various positions included Cyber Security and Trust Officer, Chief Security Officer for Cisco Italy, and Technical Leader for the Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT). Stefano's early experience includes a research role at Telecom ParisTech in 2007. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Vlerick Business School, a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from both DTU - Technical University of Denmark and Politecnico di Milano, and a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
