Jean Giguere's work experience begins in 2001 as a System Technician at Shaw Communications, where they provided technical support to customers. From 2003 to 2007, Jean worked as an Information Assurance Systems Engineer at General Dynamics Canada. In 2007, they moved on to Graycon Group, serving as an Infrastructure & Systems Analyst and providing server and desktop support for clients. In 2008, Jean became the Intel and Network Team Leader at Chemtrade Electrochem Inc., leading a team of IT professionals. In 2017, they joined Suncor Energy as a Team Leader Solution Design Windows Server, overseeing infrastructure solution designs. Finally, in 2022, Jean started working at ENMAX as a Team Lead for IT Cloud and Infrastructure.
Jean Giguere completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Athabasca University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Information Technology degree from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) between 2005 and 2007. Additionally, Jean has an ITIL Foundation certification from PeopleCERT, earned in 2013.
