David Orr

David Orr has a strong background in industrial design, with extensive experience in various companies. David started their career as an Industrial Design Intern at Orthologic and Mitel Networks in the late 1990s. From there, they worked as a Jr. Visual Designer at Xwave and then transitioned into a User Experience Designer role at Locus Systems Inc. In 2003, they joined SmartShape Design as a Staff Industrial Designer before moving on to Stratos Product Development, where they worked as a Sr. Industrial Designer. Most recently, they have been working at DJO as a Principal Industrial Designer.

David Orr completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive/Perception Psychology from The University of British Columbia from 1990 to 1994. Subsequently, they pursued Industrial Design and obtained a Bachelor of Industrial Design (BID) from Carleton University between 1995 and 2001.
