Dave Powell has a lengthy work experience, starting with their role as District Operations and Sales Manager at Rentway Truck Leasing in 1989. Dave then moved on to become the Service Sales Manager at The Brewer Garrett Company where they secured a significant sales contract. After that, they worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Acorn Engineering Company, where they increased sales during a SAP implementation. From 2001 to 2009, they served as the Director of Sales at Dun and Bradstreet - Harris Infosource Division, leading sales and operations teams. Dave then became the Regional Sales Manager at Arrow Electronics - OEM Computing Solutions Group, overseeing a $49 million sales group. Dave further advanced their career as the Director of Sales at 1EDI Source, where they oversaw new business sales, client success, and sales operations. From 2013 to 2016, they served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at ASTRO MANUFACTURING & DESIGN, transforming the company into a full-service contract manufacturing organization. Dave then moved on to Surface Materials as the VP of Sales, distributing commercial finishing products. Prior to their current role, they worked as the VP Sales and Marketing at GMT Corporation, a company specializing in welding and fabrication. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Sales at Enprotech, where they manage the lifecycle of heavy equipment.
Dave Powell has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Kent State University. Dave also has a High School Diploma from Willoughby South High School with a field of study in College Prep. In addition to their formal education, Dave obtained a certification in Root Cause Corrective Action Procedures Training from Lakeland Community College - Center for Business & Industry in March 2015.
