Ian Heinrich

Ian Heinrich is an accomplished investor with extensive experience in early-stage investing. Currently serving as an Investor at Ensemble VC since August 2023, Ian focuses on identifying outlier teams and has partnered with notable startups such as Zoom and Carta. Previously, Ian was part of the investment teams at Collaborative Fund (2022-2023) and Third Sphere (December 2021-May 2022), specializing in scalable climate action investments. Ian's earlier roles include supporting the CFO at Mercer (2018-2021) and serving as an Analyst at Huron (2016-2018) in strategic business advisory and M&A. Ian holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, along with a BA in Economics, Psychological and Brain Sciences, and Entrepreneurship and Management from The Johns Hopkins University.
