Doug Crawford has a strong background in software development and leadership roles. Doug started their career in 1999 as a Software Developer at Dimension Data and worked there until 2002. Doug then worked at Software Futures and Paracon SA as a Software Developer before joining Thompson NETg as an IBM Subject Matter Expert in 2003. From 2004 to 2012, Doug worked at Telkom SA as an Integration Specialist and later as a Software Development Manager. In 2012, they joined Entelect UK and held various positions including Team Lead, Manager: Service Delivery, General Manager, and currently serves as the Managing Director.
Doug Crawford attended Rhodes University from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science & Information Systems. In 2013, they obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance.
