Pieter van Vuuren has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Pieter started their career at Sybrin, where they worked as a Full Stack and DevOps Engineer. During their time there, they developed features for the company's core application, supporting international banks such as CRDB Bank of Tanzania and Lesotho Post Bank of Lesotho.
After Sybrin, Pieter joined Digifreight Limited as a Lead Developer. Pieter led the development of a web application in the Freight and Logistics industry, utilizing technologies such as ReactJS, FaunaDB, and GraphQL.
Following their role at Digifreight Limited, Pieter worked at Securitex Solutions as a Lead Developer. Pieter designed and developed a customizable application for couples getting married, using Angular, Ionic, and Firebase.
Pieter's most recent position was at Entelect, where they initially worked as a Software Engineer before being promoted to Senior Software Engineer and later becoming a Project Lead. In this role, they led a team of developers and focused on people leadership and coaching. Pieter also attended the Legitimate Leadership course during their time at Entelect.
