Shashi Hansjee has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Shashi started their career as an Intern at Siemens in 2002. In 2004, they worked as a Software Developer at Microsoft. In 2005, Shashi joined Entelect as a Team Lead, where they were responsible for various projects and overseeing the entire software development lifecycle. Shashi then progressed to the role of Technical Director, where they focused on technical delivery and the quality of solutions at Entelect. In 2010, Shashi became the Managing Director of Entelect, where they successfully improved profits and doubled the staff count. In 2014, they were appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Entelect, a position they currently hold. In 2018, Shashi also took on advisory and non-executive roles at GirlCode ZA and Teleforge, respectively.
Shashi Hansjee obtained a Matric degree from Greenside High School from 1994 to 1998. They then pursued a BSc Eng (Electrical) in Information Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained an MEng degree in Software Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2004.
