Carlos Espinoza-Toro, MCP, currently serves as the Director of Community Wealth Building at Enterprise Community Partners, focusing on fostering inclusive and equitable communities through technical assistance for BIPOC populations. With extensive experience in economic development consulting, Carlos has led participatory planning processes at CJET Consulting since 2012, and previously held key positions, including Associate Director of Economic Prosperity Services and Director of Small Business Services at Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation, where initiatives strengthened local socio-economic relationships. Carlos has also directed community organizing at the Institute for Policy Studies, managed sustainability programs at the MIT Community Innovators Lab, and contributed significantly in earlier roles, including as an architect and educator. Carlos holds a Master in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Kansas.
