Martin Corkery

Martin Corkery is an experienced professional in the fields of sustainability and regional development, currently serving as the Department Manager for the Sustainability & Renewable Energy Team at Enterprise Ireland since January 2003. In this role, Martin Corkery leads efforts to promote sustainability and decarbonisation across a diverse client portfolio in the cleantech and renewable energy sectors. Previously, Martin Corkery held positions as Regional Director for the South & South East Regions, focusing on the implementation of Enterprise Ireland’s regional strategies, and as Regional Manager for the Cork Region, emphasizing entrepreneurship and start-up growth. Martin Corkery began the career as a Senior Development Advisor, assisting high-potential start-ups in the technology sector, and also worked as a Business Adviser at South Cork Enterprise Board from April 1996 to December 2002. Martin Corkery holds a BA in Economics and Maths from University College Cork.
