Steve Gao is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in RFIC and MMIC design, currently serving as Principal MMIC Design Engineer at pSemi, A Murata Company since November 2018. Steve has held multiple leadership roles, including RFIC Director at Roshmere Inc., where a team was built to develop high-speed integrated circuits for coherent optical communications. Previous positions include RFIC/MMIC Design Manager and Principal RFIC Design Engineer at Tensorcom Inc., and Staff Analog/RFIC Design Engineer at Entropic Communications. With a career spanning over two decades, Steve has contributed to various organizations, including Spreadtrum Communication, Nokia, Ashvattha Semiconductor, CNXT, and Cirrus Logic. Steve holds a PhD candidacy in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, where studies were completed from 1994 to 1998.
