Itamar Malka

Itamar Malka has had a diverse career in software engineering. In 2022, they joined env0 as a Software Developer. In 2020, they moved to CardLatch as a Senior Software Engineer. From 2015 to 2020, they were a Java Software Engineer with the Israel Defense Forces. During this time, they developed and maintained mission critical legacy systems in Java PL/SQL and Oracle Forms, and also provided operational support. Itamar also worked on a web based Java application in a Continuous Deployment (CD) environment, practicing TDD. Additionally, they broke the monolith into microservices and integrated Apache Kafka as the messaging tool between services. Itamar was a Java engineer in a Kanban team focused on scalable and high performance-oriented services using MongoDB and Kafka based on Spring Cloud and Spring Boot abstractions. Technologies used included Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JUnit, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle DB Hibernate, Angular, AngularJS, Html5, CSS, JS, JQuery, AngularJs, Angular, npm, Docker, OpenShift, and Jenkins.
