Steve Murchie

Steve Murchie is an experienced environmental professional with a career spanning over two decades in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of National Field Operations at the Environmental Defense Fund since April 2015, Murchie previously held positions including Campaign Director at the Gulf Restoration Network and Southeast Senior Regional Outreach Coordinator at the National Wildlife Federation. Additional experience includes a role as Senior Field Officer at Pew Environment Group and Vice President of Field Operations at the National Environmental Trust. Murchie holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Florida, earned between 1985 and 1989.
