Scott McBurney is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in wetland ecology, permitting, and project management. Currently serving as Senior Project Manager and Wetlands Technical Leader at Environmental Design & Research since August 2019, Scott oversees environmental planning and permitting for energy infrastructure projects. Prior roles include Senior Project Manager at Jacobs and Senior Environmental Consultant at Black & Veatch, where responsibilities encompassed NEPA documentation, business development, and client management across the Mid-Atlantic region. Earlier career highlights include work as an Environmental Scientist at Princeton Hydro, LLC, and as Assistant Environmental Scientist at Parsons Brinckerhoff. Scott holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Drexel University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from California University of Pennsylvania.
