Andrew Trister

Andrew Trister, MD PhD, serves as the Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Verily, where leadership focuses on research, science, and population health initiatives to advance precision health. In addition to current roles, Andrew is the Chief Scientific Officer at Galvani Bioelectronics and a member of the Board of Directors for both Galvani Bioelectronics and Nusano. As a Strategic Advisor for Enya.ai, Andrew contributes to the development of hybrid blockchain solutions. Previous experience includes serving as Deputy Director for Digital Health and AI at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and clinical roles at OHSU and Fred Hutch. Educational background includes multiple degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in Medicine, Bioengineering, Computer Information Science, and Computer Science and Engineering, along with a BA in the Biological Basis of Behavior.
