Kai Plachner

Kai Plachner is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in global engineering, system engineering, and electrical engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Global Engineering at EOS since January 2013, Kai Plachner coordinates engineering standards and modular product design aligned with customer-oriented roadmaps. Previously, as the Head of System Engineering – Cross Function, responsibilities included establishing a cross-functional system engineering department focused on industry 4 requirements. Prior to EOS, Kai Plachner was the Head of Electrical Engineering at Singulus Technologies AG, where the role involved overseeing electrical and software engineering projects, as well as supporting product management with an emphasis on modularity and cost. Kai Plachner’s career began in electrical engineering, assembling and commissioning photovoltaic machinery. Education was completed at Technikerschule München.
