Fernando Fortes is an experienced professional in audio engineering and project management, currently serving as the Deployment Operations Project Manager at EOS IT Solutions since June 2022. As the official Smaart instructor and distributor for Brazil, Fernando has been with FF Engenharia de Áudio since October 2012. Prior roles include Associate Manager Market Development and Senior Market Development at Shure Incorporated from October 2016 to May 2022, and Production Manager for Audio at the Olympic Ceremonies 2016. Fernando has a technical background as a Sound Designer and Engineer at FFSD Serviços de Engenharia Ltda and served as Technical Manager at Loudness Projetos Especiais from March 1994 to February 2008. Early career experience includes working as an Electronic Technician at Eaton in 1990. Fernando holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and completed an Electronic Technician program at Escola Salesiana São José.
