Davide Orifici has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 1993, they worked as a Research Assistant and later as an Assistant to the Deputy Director at the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies. In 1998, they joined the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs as a Diplomat, where they held the position of Second Secretary and was responsible for organizing workshops, negotiating multilateral crises, and drafting briefings. From 2002 to 2008, they worked at GICHD as the Head of Policy, Communications, and External Relations. In 2008, they became an Associated Consultant at Human Solutions Consulting in Geneva. Davide later served as a Cleantech Project Manager at OPI and as a Procurement and Marketing Manager at SwissVillage Association Abu Dhabi, both in 2009. In 2010, they joined Swissgrid AG as the Senior Manager of Public Affairs and Community Relations for Western Switzerland. In 2014, they became the Head of Swiss Office at EPEX SPOT, and later in 2020, they took on the role of Director of Public & Regulatory Affairs and Communications at the same company.
