Thanos Chronopoulos has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the telecommunications and marketing industries. Thanos started their career as a Research Executive at Research International in 1999 and then joined PwC as a Management Consultant in 2001. Thanos later worked at WIND Hellas as a Consumer Insights and Analysis Manager from 2002 to 2005, and then as a Senior Brand Manager from 2005 to 2008. In 2009, they became the Consumer Marketing Director at WIND Hellas before moving to Greek Yellow Pages as the Marketing and Strategy Director from 2010 to 2012. Thanos then joined MTN Cyprus, where they held several positions including Chief Marketing Officer from 2012 to 2015, Chief Commercial Officer from 2015 to 2018, and CEO from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they are the CEO of Epic, a position they have held since 2019.
Thanos Chronopoulos completed their MSc in International Business and Finance at Reading University, UK from 1996 to 1997. Prior to that, they studied Business Administration at Universität Passau from 1990 to 1995.

Epic is one of the largest telecommunication providers in Cyprus. Epic provides integrated mobile and fixed telephony, internet and pay-TV services, as well as specialized ICT solutions for businesses. At the same time, it operates 18 stores with tech products, accessories and telecommunication solutions. In 2019, it proceeded with the implementation of the biggest investment ever made for a super-fast network, with 10 times more capacity compared to the past and a wide broadband coverage. Since 2020 Epic has being awarded four times in a row, receiving twice the “Best Mobile Network in Test” award by the global independent testing company umlaut and twice the “Fastest Mobile Network in Cyprus” award by the internationally recognized internet performance testing company Ookla. Epic belongs to Monaco Telecom, the telecom provider of the Principality of Monaco, and is a member of a dynamic European telecoms’ family, which operates in France, Italy, Switzerland, Malta and Ireland.
