Epic
Duncan Szarmes began their work experience in 2013 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia, Okanagan. In 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer at BC Cancer Agency. Then, in 2015, they joined Epic as a Software Developer, where they focused on Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Radiation Therapy, and Managed Care. Duncan later took on roles as an R&D Team Lead and Orthopaedics Product Lead.
Duncan Szarmes earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, completing their studies there from 2011 to 2015.
