Joe Swartz has extensive experience in project management and education, currently serving as an Implementation Project Manager and Team Lead for the Emergency Department (ASAP) Application at Epic since July 2011. Joe holds multiple certifications, including ASAP, EpicCare Inpatient, EpicCare Ambulatory, Nurse Triage, Care Everywhere, and Reporting. Prior to this role, Joe was a Corps Member with Teach for America in the Houston Independent School District from January 2009 to June 2011 and worked in various internships, including positions as an Undergraduate Honors Assistant at the Carlson School of Management, a Business Analyst Intern at Target, and a Sales and Marketing Intern at Haldeman-Homme, Inc. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Marketing and minors in Mass Communications and Leadership from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Additionally, Joe studied at Bordeaux Business School and completed secondary education at Minnewaska Area High School.
