Sharon Perelman Dds

Sharon Perelman DDS, MMI, FAMIA serves as the Chief Medical Informatics Officer and Associate Professor of Dental Medicine at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine since July 2018. In addition to these roles, Sharon contributes as a reviewer for various professional journals, including the Journal of Disaster Medicine and Public Health Preparedness and the Journal of the American Dental Association. Notable past positions include Director of Clinical Information Systems at New York University, where Sharon implemented Electronic Health Records, and Dentist at Oceanview Dental. Sharon holds multiple degrees, including a DDS from Loyola University College of Dentistry and an MS in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University, along with certifications in Six Sigma Green Belt for healthcare.
