Sebastian Sauerer has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Sebastian is currently employed as a Full Stack Engineer at epilot since October 2022. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at SAP from April 2021 to October 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Software Engineer at CLOUDPILOTS Software & Consulting GmbH from June 2020 to March 2021. Additionally, they completed their Bachelor Thesis at SYSKRON from February 2019 to September 2019, where they implemented a microservice with AWS and TypeScript and compared database technologies provided by AWS. Sebastian also gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Accenture from September 2018 to December 2018 and as a Software Engineer Intern at BMW Group from March 2018 to August 2018. Furthermore, they worked as a Working Student at Infineon Technologies from October 2015 to October 2016.
Sebastian Sauerer pursued their education starting from 2015 until 2019 at Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Informatics. In 2017-2018, they also had an opportunity to study at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid as part of their Bachelor of Science program, majoring in Computer Science. Sebastian further advanced their academic journey at Technische Universität Wien from 2020 to 2021, where they pursued a Master of Science degree with a focus on Software Engineering & Internet Computing.
