Ioannis Zalachoras has worked in various research positions, focusing on the manipulation of Glucocorticoid Receptor-coregulator interaction on stress responses. Ioannis has experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Wyss Center for Bio and Neuroengineering, Université de Lausanne, and EPFL. Prior to these roles, Ioannis was a PhD student at Leiden University Medical Center and Leiden University. Additionally, Ioannis gained research experience as a Research Intern at Radboud University Nijmegen and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Ioannis holds a Master of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience from Radboud University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

The Wyss Center is an independent, non-profit, research organization that innovates and accelerates technologies and therapies to transform the lives of people with neurological and mental health disorders. The Wyss Center was established by a generous donation from the Swiss entrepreneur and philanthropist Hansjörg Wyss in 2014.
