Reza Rafiy

Reza Rafiy is an experienced Hydraulic System Engineer and Motion Control Engineer currently working at Epiroc since June 2017, focusing on R&D for underground rock excavation and the design of drill rigs, raiseboring systems, and other machinery. Prior to Epiroc, Reza held positions at Atlas Copco from September 2012 to August 2017 as a Hydraulic Design Engineer and Hydraulic Engineer, where responsibilities included the design and construction of concrete spraying machines and a prototype underground Mobileminer 22H. Reza also contributed to Volvo Construction Equipment as a Master's thesis student and worked on a student project with Ponsse Oyj analyzing the efficiency of harvesting machines. Early career experience includes serving as a Procurement Engineer at OIEC Group, managing procurement for a gas gathering and NGL recovery project. Reza holds Master's degrees in Hydraulics and Fluid Power Technology and Mechanical Engineering from Linköping University.
