Dr. Julia Preu has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of quality management, regulatory affairs, and research and development. Dr. Julia has held positions such as Head of Global Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs R&D at Eppendorf SE, Head of R&D Quality Management & Regulatory Affairs - Instruments at Eppendorf Group, and Senior Expert and Product Center Manager at Vivonic GmbH. Prior to these roles, they worked in support product center and quality systems and as a consultant in the life sciences industry. Dr. Preu also has research experience as a Lab Head at the Rudolf Virchow Center for Experimental Biomedicine and as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Co-Project Leader at the Max Planck Institute of Biophysics. Dr. Julia completed their PhD at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, and conducted research as a PhD student at the Paul Scherrer Institut and as a diploma student at EMBL Hamburg.
Dr. Julia Preu completed their education with a Diploma in Biochemistry from Universität Greifswald in the years 2001-2007. Dr. Julia then pursued a Doctorate in Biophysics from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2007 to 2010. Recently, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Innovation and Technology Management from Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule between 2018 and 2020.
