Amanda Myers has extensive experience in educational administration and operations, currently serving as the District Director of Operations at Equality Charter School since August 2009. In addition to this role, Amanda has held various positions within the same institution, including Director of Operations, Vice Principal for both Middle and High School, and Director of Athletics and Physical Education. Amanda's earlier career includes a coaching position at Iona College from 2001 to 2009, where responsibilities encompassed serving as First Assistant, Recruiting, and Offensive Coordinator for the Women's Basketball team. Amanda holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Iona University, a Master's in Educational Leadership from Canisius University, a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Long Island University, and a teaching certificate in Health Education from Bemidji State University.

Equality Charter School
Equality Charter School is a middle and high school in the Bronx that serves all scholars, regardless of their prior academic performance or needs, and provides an engaging, academically rigorous, fully inclusive learning environment to help each achieve success. Equality Charter School was opened in 2009 by Founder Caitlin Franco. Equality has provided essential academic, social, and emotional supports to middle school scholars in the Bronx; and in September 2014, we expanded our impact by opening a high school. We are currently working on plans for the next phase of Equality: our College and Career Exploration program, an expansion to elementary school, and Adult Programming classes to include an Equality Community Center. The future includes endless possibilities of what Equality can provide to the Co-Op City and Castle Hill communities in the Bronx.
