Kayla Gagnet serves as the Senior Vice President of Editorial at equalpride, leading news and audience operations for prominent LGBTQ+ media outlets such as The Advocate, Out, and Pride. Previously, Kayla was an Adjunct Instructor at Loyola University New Orleans, teaching a master’s level course on journalism; the Managing Editor, Digital at The Times-Picayune | Nola.com; and the Senior Vice President of Content & Digital Operations at CNHI, where strategic oversight encompassed over 100 newspapers. Early experience includes roles as Managing Editor for WDSU.com, Internet News Producer at WCNC-TV, and Reporter for The Daily Advertiser. Kayla holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University.
