Didier ENGELS has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Didier is currently serving as the Chief Finance Officer at EQUANS BeLux since July 2021. Prior to that, they held various positions at ENGIE from 2008 to 2021, including Group Risk Director, Group Operational Finance Director, Executive Vice President Finance Energy Europe, and Corporate director in charge of planning and control. Before joining ENGIE, they worked at Suez as the SVP corporate Management Reporting and Control, at Fluxys as the F&A director, at Hewlett-Packard as an Integration Manager, at Compaq as the CFO, and at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) in different capacities such as CFO, Controlling manager, Internal audit manager, and Financial analyst. Didier began their career at Arthur Andersen as an Auditor.
Didier Engels attended the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management from 1977 to 1982.
