Michael Spies

Michael Spies is the current Non-executive Director at Equiem. Prior to this, they were with Tishman Speyer for 29 years from January 1990 to December 2019, where they held the position of Senior Managing Director. In this role, they were responsible for heading up Europe, India, and New Markets, as well as being in charge of innovation and chairing the investment committee. Before Tishman Speyer, Spies was with Fuse Strategies LLC. Michael began their career in September 1982 at the New York City Public Development Corporation where they served as Executive Vice President for seven years.

Michael Spies has a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and an MCRP from Harvard University in City & Regional Planning and Public Policy.
