Simon Giles has over a decade of experience in financial management and accounting, currently serving as Group Director of Accounting at Equiniti since January 2014. In this role, Simon is responsible for the preparation and presentation of consolidated and subsidiary financial statements, technical advice on accounting and IFRS matters, financial controls, and oversight of corporation tax and VAT reporting. Prior roles at Equiniti include Finance Integration Manager for M&A and Group Accounting and Reporting Manager. Prior to Equiniti, Simon held positions as Group Financial Accountant at G4S and OCS Group UK, and as an Audit Assistant Manager at KPMG Audit. Simon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Kent.
