Maiken Ree

Maiken Ree is an experienced communication leader currently serving as a Leader in communication at Equinor since June 2023, focusing on agile communication within offshore wind and renewable energy. As a Deputy Board Member for both Forus Næringspark and IVAR IKS since October 2019 and an Advisor to Stavanger Business Region until June 2023, Maiken plays a key role in the transition of the Stavanger region towards a diversified energy landscape. Previous roles include serving as an Advisor for the Media Response Team at OPERATØRENES FORENING FOR BEREDSKAP from March 2018 to June 2023, and Communications Director for the leading energy conference ONS from August 2019 to June 2021. Educational qualifications include two Master’s degrees in Management from BI Norwegian Business School and a BA(Hons) in Journalism from the University of the Arts London.
