Patrick Blomquist

Patrick Blomquist is a seasoned data science professional currently serving as Senior Advisor for Data Science and Research at Equinor since March 2023, while also holding a position as a Board Member at SFI Visual Intelligence since February 2025. Previously, Patrick worked at DNB from August 2018 to February 2023 in various roles, including Senior Advisor for Data in Personal Banking and Service Owner for Customer Insight/Big Data platform, where efforts focused on developing a cutting-edge data science laboratory utilizing modern software practices and cloud technologies. Prior to DNB, Patrick spent a decade at Statoil in multiple analytics and data science leadership positions, emphasizing the establishment of an analytics mindset and delivering advanced analytical insights in exploration and operational performance analytics. Academically, Patrick holds a Ph.D. in Computational and Applied Mathematics and a Cand. Scient in Applied Mathematics/Computational Neuroscience, both from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.
