Tone Hetland Hansen

Tone Hetland Hansen is a seasoned geologist with a strong background in development and production within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist at Equinor since December 2023 and a Geologist at Sval Energi since June 2022, Tone has accumulated significant experience through previous roles at Spirit Energy from September 2017 to June 2022 and multiple internships at Centrica between 2014 and 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Geovitenskap (Petroleum) from the University of Bergen and a Master's degree in Geology from Trinity College Dublin. Additional academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Bergen. Tone has also contributed to academia as a Teaching Assistant in marine and terrestrial geology.
