James Chen

James Chen, CFA, FRM, is the Director of Risk for Equitable Investment Management Group, with a focus on developing and implementing risk management policies to meet regulatory and company objectives. Since January 2015, James has reported on investment risk exposure to senior management and the board, ensuring compliance with liquidity risk management and conducting risk assessments across the organization. Previously, James served as Portfolio Manager and Lead Manager for Asset Allocation, overseeing $28 billion in assets and performing due diligence on investment vehicles. Prior experience includes roles at WL Ross & Co. LLC as an Operations Analyst and at Citi as a Financial Reporting Analyst. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Bentley University and has studied abroad at RMIT University.
