Paul Webb has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Paul currently holds the role of Equiti Group COO since November 2021 and previously served as the COO of Equiti Capital starting from July 2021. Prior to their roles at Equiti, Paul was the Chief Executive Officer at ADS Securities London from May 2016 to July 2021. Paul also worked at ADS Securities as the Chief Dealer from September 2012 to April 2016. Before joining ADS Securities, Paul held positions at WorldSpreads Group Plc as the Head of Market Risk from February 2011 to April 2012, and at CMC Markets where they served as the Group Head of Trading, Acting Head of Trading, Chief Dealer, and Senior Dealer European Equities from 2000 to 2010. Paul started their career in retail management at J Sainsbury from August 1991 to January 1996. Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated expertise in market risk management, revenue generation, client analysis, and trading across various asset classes.
Paul Webb attended The Broxbourne School from 1984 to 1990, where they obtained their GCSE's. Paul later pursued a BSc in Business and Law at the University of Hertfordshire from 1996 to 1999, earning a 2:1 Honours degree.
