Peter R.

Peter R. serves as the Head of the Department of Medical Informatics and holds the titles of Professor of Medical Informatics and Associate Professor of Health Data Science at Erasmus MC. Additionally, Peter R. is a Principal Investigator at Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI). Previous roles at Erasmus MC include Researcher in Medical Informatics and Scientific Programmer. Peter R. obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Erasmus University Rotterdam between 2003 and 2007 and earned a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Systems and Control (Pattern Recognition) from Delft University of Technology from 1993 to 1996.
