Felix Wenzel

Felix Wenzel is an experienced professional in the field of data engineering and strategy, currently serving as the Head of Data Engineering and Strategy at ERGO Group AG since June 2004. In this role, Wenzel leads a team responsible for shaping the Advanced Analytics IT infrastructure and developing data pipelines for ERGO's Analytical Data Lake to enhance Machine Learning and AI capabilities across the primary insurance value chain. Previous positions include Team Lead for IT Coordination in Dispositive Systems for the property-casualty segment and IT Coordinator/Project Manager in Finance at ERGO. Wenzel's earlier experience includes roles as an IT Specialist at Hamburg Mannheimer Versicherungen, Junior Consultant at PwC, Project Assistant at Coopers & Lybrand, and Banker at Kreissparkasse Pinneberg. Wenzel holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the University of Hamburg and completed Abitur at Ludwig-Meyn-Gymnasium.
