Peter Klaas

Peter Klaas has extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as a Marine Risk Engineer at ERGO Versicherung AG since April 2013. Prior to this role, Peter held various positions at Seereederei Baco-Liner GmbH, including Head of Operations from 2007 to 2013 and Superintendent Operations/Supercargo from 1997 to 2007. Peter's career began at sea, where from 1982 to 1995, roles progressed from Ordinary Seaman to Able Bodied Seaman, obtaining a Nautical license in 1988 and a Captain's license in 1992. Additionally, Peter served as a Ship Operator at Cho Yang Europe Management from 1995 to 1997.
