Vera Gottwald

Vera Gottwald currently serves as the Global Head of Products and Underwriting for Property & Casualty at ERGO Group AG since November 2022. Vera also holds positions as a member of the Supervisory Board for ERGO Hellas and ERGO Direkt Versicherung AG as of April and October 2024, respectively. Previous experience includes leading Underwriting Strategy and Guidelines for P&C Retail at Allianz Suisse from February 2017 to October 2022 and serving as Senior Manager in Corporate Development. Prior roles include Strategic Project Manager at Allianz Worldwide Partners and Senior Consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Vera holds an MSc in Management, Organisations and Governance and a BSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, along with leadership development training from ESMT Berlin.
