Yidnekachew Erdillo

Yidnekachew Erdillo has extensive experience in the telecommunications field, serving as Engineering Manager for both RU Baseband Software Development and Cloud RAN L1 Software Development at Ericsson from August 2017 to May 2025. Prior to this, Yidnekachew was a Research Intern at Fraunhofer FOKUS for a brief period in 2014, and held the position of Acting Team Leader and Operation and Maintenance Engineer at Ethiopian Telecommunication Corporation from December 2005 to January 2010. Yidnekachew began a career as a Junior Engineer at Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation in 2005. Educationally, Yidnekachew obtained qualifications from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Technische Universität Berlin between January 2012 and January 2014.
