Kyle Pennington

Kyle Pennington has extensive experience in electrical and electronics engineering, currently serving as Chapter Lead and Lead Software Engineer at EROAD since January 2020, where responsibilities include leadership in software development. Prior to this role, Kyle was Engineering Team Lead and Hardware Engineer at Veriphi from February 2016 to December 2019, focusing on the design and development of a drug verification system utilizing laser spectroscopy. Earlier in the career, Kyle worked as an Electrical Engineer at Quest Integrity Group in 2009, where the role involved building and testing ultrasonic pipeline inspection tools. Kyle holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours, both from The University of Waikato.
