Rob Bygrave is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as Principal Engineer at EROAD since April 2023. With extensive experience in Java development, Rob has held the position of Technical Lead Developer at ClearPoint Ltd from August 2016, focusing on JVM-based services and continuous deployment using Kubernetes and Docker. As Project Lead for Ebean ORM since November 2006, Rob aims to enhance the usability and performance of Object Relational Mapping on the JVM. Previous roles include Consultant/Developer at Accolade, Inc., where significant features were developed for Ebean ORM, and various senior Java developer positions at companies such as Clearfield Software Ltd and Colenso BBDO. Rob holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Auckland.
