Tobias Killmann has a range of experience in the banking and finance industry. Tobias began their career in 2013 as a Thesis Intern at Kommuninvest i Sverige AB, where they developed an interbank stress testing model and analyzed the impact of bank failures on the Swedish banking sector. In 2013, they also joined Erste Group Bank AG as a Strategic Risk Management Trainee, participating in a one-year graduate programme focused on risk and corporate finance. During this time, they completed various trainings and job rotations in different Erste Group entities across Europe. From 2014 to 2017, Tobias worked as a Risk Manager in Risk Planning and Stress Testing at Erste Group Bank AG, leading projects in risk analytics framework development, automation, and stress testing. In 2017, they transitioned to the role of Executive Assistant to the Chief Risk Officer, providing support to the Group Board. Since 2019, Tobias has served as the Head of Group Central Compliance and Strategy at Erste Group Bank AG.
Tobias Killmann pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Economics from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Economics and Econometrics from Örebro University between 2011 and 2013.
