Phillip Brown has extensive experience in quality assurance and management roles. Phillip started their career at Textron as a Quality Manager, where they successfully implemented a plan to reduce and eliminate defects. Phillip then moved on to Acument Global Technologies as an Operations Manager, where they introduced change management and implemented measures to maximize efficiency and quality. Following that, they worked at Elm Plating Co as a Quality Director, overseeing various plating and heat treatment processes. Brown then joined Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. / STANLEY Engineered Fastening as a Director of Quality for North America, where they focused on developing and maintaining quality systems to achieve customer satisfaction. Phillip later held the positions of Vice President of Quality for North America and Vice President of Global Quality at STANLEY Engineered Fastening, where they led teams and implemented quality systems to exceed performance objectives. Currently, Brown is working at ESAB as the Vice President of Quality Assurance, where they are responsible for global quality systems and continuous improvement.
Phillip Brown holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Management from Northwood University. In 2004, they obtained a Six Sigma Certificate in Process Improvement from Textron Fastening Systems. Later, in 2011-2012, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Villanova University. Additionally, Phillip obtained certification in "The Neuroscience of Strategy and Creative Leadership" from LinkedIn in 2023.
