Benedetto Carollo

Benedetto Carollo currently serves as CTO Software at Esaote since September 2023. Prior experience includes working as an AWS Senior Solution Architect for Healthcare at Amazon Web Services from August 2020 to September 2023 and as a Senior Software Architect at Vital Images, Inc. from June 2019 to August 2020. Benedetto held the position of Principal Engineer/Software Architect at Canon Medical Research Europe Ltd. from January 2010 to June 2019 and worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Oracle and British Energy. Earlier career roles included Software Engineer positions at EDF and ESB, and leading the Data Processing Centre at CoRiSSIA. Benedetto began a career in academia as a Researcher/Developer at the University of the Studies of Palermo within the Agricultural Department from 2001 to 2005. Benedetto earned a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Università degli Studi di Palermo in 2005.
