At Omnitracs, Torin had multiple roles. Torin began as an Associate Software Engineer in February 2017, where they developed software for ELDs on dedicated hardware running Windows Embedded. They were responsible for developing Omnitracs' three most popular mobile platforms (IVG, MCP200, and MCP50) to ensure compliance with federal ELD mandates and improve performance.
Later, Torin took on the role of Software Engineer 1 in December 2018 at Omnitracs. In this position, Torin became an authority figure on the J1939 and J1587 bus standards, which enabled Omnitracs devices to communicate with the engine.
In 2015, Torin worked as a Software Engineer Co-Op at Rockwell Collins.
